Charles Hsiung


Charles is a pioneer in tennis and sports in Asia and has influenced the growth and expansion of sporting events across the region.

A self-motivated and accomplished executive with over 27 years of international experience across multiple sports and multiple disciplines, including marketing, communication, advertising, event management and public relations, Charles’ expertise and position in the sports industry are unrivalled. He has secured and/or serviced a host of well-known global brands such as Rolex, Coca-Cola, Panasonic, Emirates, Sony Ericsson, Corona, Sina, Porsche, SAP, iQiyi and others. He also served as Co-Tournament Director of the China Open in Beijing from 2004 to 2017.

Charles has been an elected member of the WTA Tournament Council for the APAC Tier 1 level tournaments since 2012.

He obtained his Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Southern University, United States and speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
